Finding a Link: Use the search bar at the top of the page or browse through our categories. Once you are on a subcategory page and viewing the list of websites, you have two options:
- Click on the “Site” link to go directly to the site.
- Click on the large, bold name to go to a dedicated page where you can rate the site or click the link to visit the site.
Rating a Site: To rate a site, go to its dedicated page by clicking on the large, bold name in the subcategory list. There, you will find a star rating system at the bottom of the page. Your feedback helps others find the best resources!
Submitting a Link:
- Click on the “Submit a Link” button at the top right of the page.
- Choose the appropriate category for your link.
- Click “Next.”
- Enter the title of the site, a short description, and the URL.
- Click “Complete Link” to submit.

Flagging a Link: There are several reasons to flag a link: if it’s no longer active, if the group’s topic has changed to something non-genealogical, or if the content is R or X rated. We rely on our visitors to notify us of any issues with the links.
To flag a link:

- Go to the listing.
- Click on the “Flag Link” button below the link.
- Enter your name, email, and the reason for flagging the link
